The Bliss Beneath

We refuse to see the bliss beneath us;
Beneath our noses, our lips, our tongues,
Beneath our ribcages-
The daily flow and pulse.
We rely, depend on and demand the contentment
Of another's heartbeat and breath
When we can not even appreciate our own.

But for those who don't ignore the bliss beneath them;
for those who appreciate every breath, every heartbeat, every waking moment;
Regardless of those moments being good, bad or indifferent;
Are those people truly reliant, dependent and demanding of another's heartbeat?
Or is it they are attempting to share their bliss with the world?
